The Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GNP+), with the global secretariat in Amsterdam, is the only global entity operated by and for all people living with HIV, through partner networks in six different regions of the world. Through its Global Advocacy Agenda, GNP+ aims for universal access to treatment, care and prevention services; decreased stigma and discrimination; and an improvement in the meaningful involvement of people living with HIV.
GNP+ is seeking to recruit two (2) Programme Officers to support its expanding portfolio of programmes, which will include amongst others activities on prevention supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and a 5-year Leadership through Accountability programme supported by the UK DfID Governance and Transparency Fund.

The World AIDS Campaign is a global coalition of national, regional and international civil society groups united by the call for governments to honour their AIDS commitments under the slogan “Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise”. The campaign is governed by a steering committee of global constituency-based networks and supported by a small support staff in Cape Town, South Africa and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Due to the high impact of HIV and AIDS in Africa and the need to strengthen advocacy efforts in the region, World AIDS Campaign prioritised Sub-Saharan Africa for focused campaigning support and implemented an ambitious programme of activities in 2007.
From 2008 until 2013, the programme will expand to 15 countries primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa and Globally. To support this work, World AIDS Campaign seeks to recruit an innovative and committed individual for the following post:
Global Programmes Manager
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Contract duration: 2 years – renewable, dependent on performance and funding. (6 months probation period)
Reporting to: Executive Director
Salary: Negotiable
