From originally participating in the Transitional Working Group established to set-up the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, GNP+ continues to take an active role in Global Fund leadership. GNP+ provides HIV+ positive representation to the Board of the Global Fund through the Communities Delegation - the delegation of people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. GNP+ is also part of the Policy and Strategy Committee.

In 2005 GNP+ published a study on PLHIV involvement in the Country Coordinating Mechanisms of the Global Fund. To read more about the project and to access the PDF versions of the final report in Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Bulgarian and Russian please check our library.

GNP+ in collaboration with the Policy Project also published the CCM-handbook, a manual for increasing PLHIV involvement in the Country Coordinating Mechanisms. This Handbook is also available in the GNP+ Online Library.
