Last year, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the
Global Fund) initiated a study on the involvement of people living with
HIV/AIDS in the Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs) of the Global
Fund. The report on the study is now available in Arabic, English,
French, Spanish and Russian.
The report captures the nature of the relationship between CCMs and
people living with HIV/AIDS in various countries: how they are working
together, the challenges the various actors face, and the sorts of
institutional reforms to implemented in order to improve PLWHA
involvement where needed. The ultimate aim of the report is help make
the participation of people living with HIV/AIDS in the work of the
Global Fund as strong as possible, by providing information to assist
CCMs, and thus the Global Fund, to function more efficiently,
effectively, inclusively, and transparently.
The CCM report is available here in the document library in Arabic,
English,
French,
Russian and
Spanish.
