Pilot phase roll-out completed in 4 countries

The pilot phase of the GIPA Report Card was completed in India, Lesotho, Trinidad and Tobago and Kenya. It involved interviews with a total of 47 people, 38 of whom are living with HIV. UNAIDS Country Coordinators and National AIDS Programme Managers were also interviewed.

The pilot was a testing phase for the tool, to provide preliminary data and to better understand the feasibility of measuring the application of the GIPA principle through the use of the GIPA Report Card questionnaire and user guide. Experiences from the pilot have helped improve the tool to make it more effective for further roll out globally.
