Employers

People living with HIV who have registered as participants with GNP+ can choose to make their CV available for browsing by agencies and organisations looking to employ PLHIV expertise.

Agencies and organisations wishing to access the Positive Professionals Database have to apply for this possibility through the GNP+ Central Secretariat.

NGO applicants must be a signatory to Renewing our Voice - The Code of Good Practice for NGOs responding to HIV/AIDS. UN agencies and programs must be guided by and working towards the implementation of the ILO Code of practice on HIV/AIDS
and the world of work.

All applicants must be able to show clear efforts to adhere to the GIPA Principle of the Greater Involvement of People Living with HIV/AIDS.

In the application the potential employer must clearly state the following information:

  • Name of the organisation
  • Contact details including phone, email and name of contact person within organisation.
  • Purpose of the Organisation
  • The project or program for which the position is available
  • Nature and length of employment

If need be the contact person listed must be available to provide extra information around the application.

When the permission to browse is granted, the organisation will receive a user account with the necessary permission settings. The user account will automatically expire after ten (10) working days.

GNP+ commits to granting or denying the applications within ten (10) working days.
