Consultation: Implications of NPT research for people living with HIV
Participants at the NPT Consultation
GNP+ held a consultation on the implications of research and development of new HIV prevention technologies in Amsterdam in July 2010. The consultation provided networks of people living with HIV with an update of current HIV prevention trials.
In addition, the consultation - which included product developments and NPT advocacy organizations - fostered open and constructive dialogue between the different stakeholders on the role of people living with HIV in biomedical research. Based on this dialogue, GNP+, with the support of the NPT Working Group, is developing an advocacy agenda on NPT research and development driven by people living with HIV.
