International Technical Consultation on "Positive Prevention"
GNP+ in partnership with UNAIDS is exploring and implementing Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention, which puts people living with HIV at the center of the HIV response.
GNP+ partnered with UNAIDS to organise an International Technical Consultation on ‘Positive Prevention’ in Tunisia in April 2009. The technical consultation moved the international agenda on HIV prevention forward by reshaping thinking based on the perspectives and experiences of people living with HIV. At the technical consultation the term ‘Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention’ was agreed upon linking issues of HIV treatment, prevention, support and care within a human rights framework.
