The report on a study on women living with HIV's access to reproductive and maternal health care services in six Asian countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and Vietnam has been published. The study was conducted by the Women's Program of the Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV (WAPN+) and the Regional Treatment Working Group.

The objective of the study was to assess the experience of accessing reproductive and maternal health services as reported by women living with HIV. The study included a survey of 757 women, 17 interviews and 10 focus group discussions. With more than two million pregnancies occurring amongst women who are HIV positive each year, the report gives very useful information on their experiences in relation to amongst other things: Disclosure, the use of antiretrovirals, contraception, abortion, sterilization and maternal health services in general.
