GNP+ participa como coorganizador y copatrocinador de diferentes eventos y conferencias clave de la respuesta internacional al VIH, como por ejemplo la Conferencia internacional sobre el sida, y la Reunión de ejecutores sobre el VIH y el sida. Además, GNP+ ha sido tradicionalmente el organizador principal de la Conferencia internacional para personas que viven con el VIH, cuya última edición tuvo lugar en Cuidad de México en 2008 bajo en nombre LIVING 2008: Cumbre de liderazgo positivo.

GNP+ se está centrando actualmente en fortalecer la participación de las personas que viven con el VIH en la Conferencia internacional sobre el sida AIDS2010, que tendrá lugar del 18 al 24 de julio de 2010 en Viena.

“Promoting Health and Dignity Together” is the theme of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2012. The theme aims to raise awareness around HIV and to promote respect for the human rights of people living with HIV. The memorial will take place on Sunday 20 May 2012.

The theme “Promoting Health and Dignity Together” is inspired by the Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention framework which is a people-centered and human rights based approach to the HIV response.
