The Global Network of People living with HIV is pleased to share its Roadmap to AIDS2012. This roadmap focuses on key areas of special interest for people living with HIV who are attending the 19th International AIDS Conference AIDS2012 in Washington DC. The Roadmap aims to be a friendly guide for people living with HIV and others to navigate the conference and its thousands of presentations. The GNP+ Roadmap also includes a selection from all 3000 posters that are being presented during AIDS2012.

The sessions chosen have been subdivided according to three themes: Access to Treatment, Prevention, Care and Support; Human Rights; and Community Mobilization and Activism.

These key themes have also guided LIVING2012: The Positive Leadership Summit, which is a consultation process by and for people living with HIV to develop an evidence–informed advocacy strategy towards improving the HIV response. A special satellite session on Monday, July 23 will present highlights from this consultation process.
