Key populations living with HIV are...being heard

In November 2012, GNP+ held an international consultation in Cape Town with more than twenty community leaders who advocate for the health and rights of key populations living with HIV.
The rich discussions during three-day meeting resulted in an improved mutual understanding of the priorities of diverse communities of people living with HIV and provided GNP+ with many specific ideas on how to better engage and include the priorities of key populations living with HIV across its work on advocacy, evidence gathering and community engagement.
"It was great," noted one of the participants, "because GNP+ canvassed the views of the key populations from us directly, and where there are gaps they are going to work on them."
