On 26 July 2010, the League of People Living with HIV in Moldova trained three data collectors on how to implement the GIPA Report Card questionnaire. The GIPA Report Card will assist the League in determining the application of the GIPA principle in the national response to HIV in Moldova.

The training programme included a discussion about the GIPA principle, an introduction to research methods and skills, a review of the GIPA Report Card user guide and questionnaire and a session on interviewing techniques. Data collectors practiced completing the questionnaire and discussed how to work with interviewees to collect useful data. Interviewees represent member associations of the League, the media, Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM), Ministries of Health and Social Protection and UN agencies.

The League is undertaking the GIPA Report Card between July and October 2010. The implementation of the programme is happening in the context of the Leadership through Accountability programme.
