NPT Working Group
GNP+ has established a Working Group on New Prevention Technologies (NPTs). The Working Group, which consists of 12 experts living with HIV from across the world, aims to support the process of documenting the experiences and perspectives of people living with HIV on NPTs, with a particular focus on those that are based on Anti-Retroviral medications.
The working group will highlight and advocate for opportunities for people living with HIV to be involved in the research and development of NPTs, and inform regional and national networks of people living with HIV of developments in the NPT field. In 2009, Working Group members are taking part in four teleconferences to discuss their experiences and perspectives on NPTs, ARV-based prevention and on clinical trial processes.
