Teleconference Recording: Civil Society Speaks: Youth Led HIV Activism in the Lead up to AIDS 2018
On Thursday, 10 May 2018, GNP+ hosted a galvanizing conversation with an amazing group of young civil society leaders from around the world that are on the forefront of our new era of HIV/AIDS related advocacy and activism.
Call participants discussed the important contributions that networks of young people living with HIV are making in the worldwide HIV response, despite enormous stigma, discrimination and access to health care related obstacles. Also the speakers discussed they plans and activities for AIDS 2018 and how their youth led HIV advocacy and activism is building alliances and strengthening intersectional cross-movement work across gender, race, ethnicity, class, color, sexuality, and ability.
