GNP+ is recruiting a Communications Officer
The Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) is recruiting a Communications Officer to join our organization in our Cape Town office.
The GNP+ Communications Officer will ultimately be responsible for the visibility and profile of GNP+’s work, including our advocacy and highlighting our programmatic work.
GNP+ Communications Officer plays a key role in our energetic and ambitious transformation of the organization. The incumbent will lead on creating, coordinating and implementing a communications and advocacy strategy, creating content for external events and managing and coordinating GNP+’s communications platforms
This position requires a person who is highly proactive and creative and can work with colleagues across the organization. The person should share the organization’s core mission and principles and be enthusiastic about the new trajectory of GNP+. The person should also demonstrate an ability to scan the environment and identify and recommend strategic opportunities to work with other partners and contribute to change. The person should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to contribute to an energetic and busy team.
